Water Street District Hotel and Loggia

The project goal was to provide a vibrant commercial and hospitality hub for the community.Sound isolation was of utmost importance for our client, as they could not have sound from one space intruding into the others and sound isolation requirements of the Hotel Indigo brand standards had to be achieved. To support this design initiative, Soundscape Engineering provided interior and exterior sound isolation engineering recommendations for the hotel and logia buildings.

We addressed sound isolation between vertically and horizontally adjacent spaces, such as between guest rooms, between first level retail tenant space and meeting rooms above, between banquet hall and guest rooms, between upper level restaurant and whiskey bar and guest rooms, between penthouse mechanical room and guest rooms, and between fitness center and guest rooms.
