In addition to our work on interior acoustical environments, Soundscape Engineering provides assessment and prediction of noise and vibration in the outdoor environment. We review proposed projects with respect to local, state, and national noise impact criteria. We monitor noise or vibration levels at proposed project sites and near existing facilities. We prepare impact reports and present results at community meetings. Our consultants have worked with municipalities to monitor and assess noise and vibration produced by heavy industry located within their jurisdiction, they have worked with industry to assess noise and vibration emissions and determine mitigation options. They are accustomed to working on high profile projects with community activism and media coverage.
