Hononegah Community High School Fieldhouse

In December 2015, an ice-storm destroyed the inflatable Field House used by the Hononegah High School.

The School District decided to replace it with a modern state of the art Field House. In the Spring of 2020, the new Field House opened to the public and houses a 64,750 square foot multi-purpose athletic event space capable of seating up to 2,000 spectators. The new building also contains a Fitness Center and Multi-purpose room.

Soundscape Engineering was brought onto the design team to provide recommendations for achieving appropriate noise levels from the HVAC systems and to assist with selection and location of acoustical room finishes to control reverberant noise build-up and allow for an intelligible public address system.
