Recycled barn wood from local farms and textured pebbled flooring adds a rustic feel to a sophisticated modern design. Hard surfaces abound in this building, and in close conjunction with the architect, Soundscape Engineering integrated hidden acoustical materials seamlessly into the design, resulting in spaces that acoustically support their use.

Of particular note is the control of reverberation in the main lobby and two and a half story executive board room, the latter with teleconferencing capabilities. Sound transmission from the lobby into the adjacent office spaces was also accomplished by acoustically treating the sound paths between the spaces, which preserves the openness of the spaces yet achieves sound reduction.
