From our geographically central location, Soundscape Engineering LLC's acoustical consultants and noise and vibration control engineers serve clients located throughout North America - in Chicago, Illinois; Detroit, Grand Rapids, Lansing, Ann Arbor, and Petoskey, Michigan; Milwaukee and Madison Wisconsin; Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, South Bend, and Northwest Indiana; Los Angeles, California; Vancouver, British Columbia; Dayton and Cincinnati Ohio, Winnipeg Manitoba; Saskatoon and Regina Saskatchewan; and elsewhere. Our engineers consult on issues of room acoustics, sound isolation, speech privacy, HVAC noise control, building vibration, and exterior noise impact. They also provide acoustic and vibration measurement services.

    • Orange Coast College Arts Center 1
      Costa Mesa, California
      Responsible for acoustic recommendations for design of TV Studio, Screening Room, Foley Stage, and associated Control/Projection Rooms.
    • Walt Disney Company
      Film Screening Room
      Amsterdam, Netherlands
      This new screening room was to be located in an existing office building and would have tenants below and next to it. Responsible for reviewing the project design and advising on the design of the box-in-box construction and vibration isolators used to acoustically separate the space from the adjacent tenants.
    • Silver Lake Music Rehearsal Rooms
      Silver Lake, California
      Purpose designed music rehearsal rooms to be rented by contemporary music ensembles. Primary acoustic issues were building shell sound isolation to meet City codes at adjacent properties and sound isolation between horizontally and vertically adjacent rehearsal spaces.

    Responsible for assisting with acoustic design of TV Studio and Editing Rooms.
  • Lucasfilm Skywalker Ranch 1
    Nicasio, California
    Created acoustic computer model of Big Mix studio and assisted in determining room geometry and finishes. Performed post construction acoustical measurements in Big Mix Studio and Foley Stage.

    Manila, Philippines
    Assisted in design of sound insulation and impact isolation for new television studios.
  • Microsoft Zune – The Depot 2
    Los Angeles, California
    Provided room acoustics and sound isolation design for circular events space small recording studio.
  • State of Michigan - Cadillac Place 3
    Detroit, Michigan
    Provided room acoustics, sound isolation and building systems noise control for video and audio recording rooms and control room.
