She has been active with the Acoustical Society of America subcommittee charged with authoring the extensive acoustics section in the 2010 ASHE Guidelines for Design and Construction of Health Care Facilities.
She is an adjunct professor at Lawrence Technological University, and has been published at INCE conferences, at ASA meetings and in the American Journal of Nursing. She is also a violinist with the Dearborn Symphony Orchestra.
