Our engineers consult on issues of room acoustics, sound isolation, speech privacy, HVAC noise control, building vibration, and exterior noise impact. Louie Sunga Acoustic Consultant

Since 1985, Louie Sunga has been working as an architect and acoustical consultant. During his nearly 30 year career, he has managed and contributed to a variety of project types, including performing arts, K-12 and higher education, corporate, hospitality, healthcare, museums, and residential.

Prior to joining Soundscape Engineering, Louie was Senior Acoustic Consultant/Associate at Kirkegaard Associates. During his 12 years at the firm he was involved with many high profile projects.

Prior to working for Kirkegaard, he spent three years as Senior Architect/Project Manager for Animate Architects, a small architectural firm specializing in residential and business construction and a year as Senior Architect at Teng Associates.

During his time with Teng he gained the experience and skills in Project Management and Client Relationships needed to work on large and complicated projects. His most notable project during his time at Teng was a Joint Venture Project with Jean-Paul Viguier (Design Architect) for the Hotel Softitel Chicago Tower.

Louie spent the first 14 years of his career at the architecture firm Solomon Corwell and Buenz. He was involved in many of the firms successful Chicago area projects including the Crate andBarrel Flagship Store, Tetra Pak Headquarters, and the Children’s Memorial Institute for Education and Research. During his tenure at SCB, he was deeply involved in the technical aspects of the Building and Design process.
